I use this scale in my office and for a limited amount of cooking use. The scale gives precise measurements down to hundredths of an ounce. I often use the the scale as a mirror when no mirror is available. The display is hard to read when the object that you are weighing is wider that the platform of the scale. I often use it to weigh 8x11 inch envelopes. The scale was not designed for such use, but it works. The scale uses AAA batteries. These are available in any grocery or drug store. Over all, it is an excellent value.

This product was decribed as a food scale, but I acturally use it to weight my mailing package. It works great. I can weight from a letter to a big box. It is cheap. No question about its quality. Recommend it to anyone.

Simple to use, self zeroing when you turn it on. Large display, switch between metric and imperial units with a single click. Very sensitive and accurate. Looks great, works great, and for the price, it's a deal - recommended.
