The item came promptly and true to the description. It is very thin which is perfect for storing in my tiny, city-apartment kitchen. People mentioned that the scale will shut off after 1 minute, but as long as your mise en place is set up well, that is hardly an issue.

I absolutely love this scale! I haven't purchased a digital scale in the past because I thought they were too expensive. I found this one for a great price and wasn't able to pass it up. This scale allows you to weight items in pounds, ounces, grams, etc. I also love the tare capability because I'm able to place the foods in bowls and avoid contamination. It's easy to read and I love it, love it, love it!

The scale itself is very thin and can be put away in a drawer easily especially nice for small kitchens such as mine, the only downfall with this is that you cannot store it sideways as per the manufacturer's instructions. The display is nice and bright, but as some reviewers have said before it turns off too fast especially if you don't have ingredients right at hand. This in itself wouldn't be a problem, but say you are adding an ingredient and for whatever reason the scale turns off, whenever you turn it back on, the scale doesn't remember how much was on it last, it tries to calibrate itself back to zero. Another area it is lacking is more accuracy, when you are adding only 3 grams of yeast, 3.9 grams is a pretty large difference, but this is just nitpicking. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely buy this scale again.

I love the way it looks. Truly. It's lovely.
However.... it won't tare at times, it won't switch units on the fly, and it's getting replaced after only a couple of months use. Also, it turns itself off fairly quickly, so be warned.
